Pure. Magic. Photography.
Magic.
That’s what my photography has been called before. Whenever I would show someone a picture I took they would tell me that it looks “magical” or “you’ve got such a gifted eye for things” or even “that’s just pure magic right there”. Those comments would drift around my mind for the first few years of running my own business. It took a while but it suddenly donned on me to refer to my photography as just that, pure magic.
The world always has some belief in magic, whether it is in illusions, wishes or even elf-made cookies - magic was always the keyword. That is how I describe my work now. Capturing the moments of pure magic in people’s lives or in their creative passions. That wedding where two best friends become bonded for life, the success of a student as they graduate from their school, the moment of someone’s complete self-confidence in their appearance or body image, swimming in a pool with a mermaid tail on, or even dressing up as their favorite character or hero from different medias.
That’s all magic to me and that’s what I am here to photograph.
